Wisconsin Good Sam Club   Stars & Stripes Military Chapter Events

      The Stars and Stripes Military Chapter is for veterans and their immediate family. If you wore the uniform, you and your family are welcomed. We meet once a year at the state samboree. Our chapter is new, being charted in 2010 and there are no dues. My vision for the Chapter is to have an annual project.  Possibilities should be discussed at the annual meeting.      
      The Veterans Coordinator and I thought that an appropriate project for the current 2012 Samboree would be to have a bloodmobile.  At this time all systems are “go” for it on Friday.  This is something that we hope to continue.
      The State Director has asked that the Chapter to present the colors and retire them at the Samboree opening and closing ceremonies.  The St Croix County Veterans Service Officer has agreed to be on site and speak at the annual meeting.  He will be available to answer any questions you may have about veteran’s benefits.
       Our thanks to the Top-O- Wisconsin Chapter for donating a flag, which has been flown over the U.S. Capitol.  This will be raffled off at the 2012 Wisconsin St. Croix Samboree as a fund raiser.
