S.O.V.E. Events

     The Special Olympics Volunteer Escort (S.O.V.E.) Chapter normally meets 3 times a year, once in the spring and the fall, which includes 2 fund raisers and the Torch Run in June for the Special Olympics held in Stevens Point.  At the Torch Run we place our campers in planned locations for the runners to use our bathrooms, also we provide water and snacks as they come through.  This year we are adding one more fund raiser to be held in July.  At our fund raisers the camping club members provide items for a silent auction, bake sale and put on a breakfast.  All proceeds are donated to the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
